They chose Italy for September. They believed the world would open in time — and it did.

Laura and Felix flew in from Germany with a theme written into every detail of their wedding: Follow the Sun. It appeared on the RSVP cards, on the menus, and played as guests took their seats under the olive trees of Casa Olivi. It wasn’t decoration. It was a disposition — the way these two moved through every moment of the day.

The ceremony was held in the open air, chairs set in rows on the grass between the cypresses, the Marche hills behind. The reception dinner stretched along the poolside, a single long table that ran until darkness fell — and then kept going, lit by candles and the lights strung through the trees.

Two people who thanked everyone for everything, smiled through every complication, and trusted that the day would find its way. It did.
